Making a cliche verre....

This is a drawing on glass which has been smoked over a candle flame. The brief is positive negative.  I will expose light sensitive paper using it as a kind of film.  

Ring Binder 

Ringbinder rings on a glass sheet were the basis for an cliche verre- I like the way the shadows move behind the little circles. I have been looking at the work of Eva Hess who did a lot of drawings of circles with ink and charcoal. I have yet to expose the plates so watch this space.
